Rajevac names 18-man team Nigeria game  

Asante Kotoko tops the call up list as Milovan Rajevac invites 18 players to camp for Ghana's final qualifying game against Nigeria for the African Nations Championships.

The local Black Stars would arrive in camp at midday on Thursday in Accra, a day after having featured for their clubs in the midweek premier league games as preparations begins for the game in Abuja.

Ghana came from two goals down to beat Nigeria 3-2 last Sunday at the Ohene Djan Stadium ahead of the second leg game scheduled for December 14 in Abuja.

An FA statement has directed the invited players to report at midday on Thursday at the the Novotel Hotel in Accra.

The Confederation of African Football - Caf, will hold the draw for the finals of the competition on Friday, December 26 in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.

Ivory Coast will host the maiden competition from the 22nd February-8th March 2009 involving eight sides.

The Africa Nations Championships is a new tournament designed by Caf for only home-based players of its member countries.

Ghana squad:

Fatau Dauda, Habib Mohamed (AshantiGold), Samuel Inkoom, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Ofosu Appiah, Godfred Yeboah, Jordan Opoku, Alex Asamoah, Eric Bekoe, Kojo Poku, Francis Coffie, Mark Sekyere (Asante Kotoko) and Awal Mohamed (Fetteh Feyenoord).

The rest are Daniel Yeboah, Edmund Owusu-Ansah, Emmanuel Ansong (Heart of Lions), Yaw Antwi (Liberty Professionals) and Osei Boateng (King Faisal).
