Parents tasked to educate wards on electoral laws

The Chairperson of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance, Mrs. Georgina Asamoah has urged parents and guardians to use the last twenty days to elections to educate their children who are eighteen years and above on the country’s electoral laws. 

She reminded them of their responsibilities to instill moral qualities in the youth making them responsible future leaders who can manage the nation successfully when the opportunity comes. Mrs. Asamoah said to sustain the country’s democratic concept properly, Ghanaians including children must be educated on the country’s constitution which mandates the electoral Commission to conduct general elections periodically. 

She appealed to the various women fellowships and organizations to preach peace messages in their meetings.  She also urged teachers, Religious leaders, District, Municipal and Metropolitan Assembly Members throughout the country to intensify their campaign on peace making between now and January next year for the good of the nation.
