Michael Dwamena Is Coming Home

The mortal remains of the late Michael Dwamena of Ngozie fame would be coming home after all, despite speculations that he was likely to be interred in far away USA.Dwamena passed away in a Texas hospital on Monday July 28, after complaining of stomachache. Speaking with Beatwaves, Kwabena Edu Poku, the late musician’s younger brother said, “Michael’s body will be coming down on August 27.

A month later, that is on September 26 to 27, there will be his final funeral rites at Kwehu Mperaso in the Eastern region of the Ghana.”

However, he said, “this weekend, an undersized funeral would be organized at Texas for Michael by his loved ones there. Then on August 22 a bigger one would follow in New York, before finally bringing his remains down to Ghana.”

Michael, until his death, was warming the music scene with his Ngozie song.

Information in the rumor mill also had it that the artiste was working on meeting international star Snoop Dog for a likely ‘collabo’ but that move could not materialize as Dwamena was struck by death.
