KAT Hospital signs MOU to solicit funds
The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi , has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kome To My Aid International, an Accra based NGO to solicit funds for the Hospital.  The Chief Executive of the Hospital, Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare, revealed that the Hospital launched its endowment fund in 2004 but public participation has not been encouraging.  He said based on the low public participation, the Hospital contacted the NGO to help refurbish the old block, which was built 53 years ago.

Dr. Nsiah Asare said the Hospital hopes to realize GHC2,000,000.  The President of Kome to My Aid International, Jude Fosu Gyamfi, said the NGO will solicit the funds within one year, through the use of stickers, talk shows and musical concerts among others.  Mr. Fosu Gyamfi appealed to the public to support the worthy cause by donating to the fund.
