The Graphic Communications Group Limited has launched another paper called Graphic Business. The 32 page paper which is the 8th brand of the group will be on the stands every Tuesday. The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Kwadwo Baah Wiredu, who launched the paper said Graphic is one of the state-owned enterprises that took advantage of its autonomy to carve a place for itself as a profitable company.
He said government’s non interference in the operations of the company also ensured its success. He praised Graphic for increasing its dividend from GHC3,000 in 2004 to GHC8,000 last year. The Managing Director of Graphic, Ibrahim Awal said the paper has well trained reporters who will serve readers with objective reports that will help grow the economy.
