R&B superstar, Usher's mother and manager, Jonnetta Patton, is at the center of a police investigation after allegedly failing to pay a limo driver for his services during the recent BET Award.

Patton who has helmed her son’s career for 15 years  has been accused by a freelance limousine driver for an Atlanta, Georgia-based transportation company of owing $1,668 in unpaid services.

According to TMZ.com, DeKalb County detectives are investigating claims filed by the driver, who shuttled members of Patton's camp at the BET Awards in Los Angeles in June (08).
