Dr Edward Nasigirie Mahama, Proponent of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), on Thursday said a Peoples National Convention (PNC) Government would review, strengthen and expand the scheme. The Eastern Regional Minister, Kwadwo Affram Asiedu says the educational system adopted by the country since independence has made it possible for her to produce a core of intelligent and enterprising citizens who have supported the public and private sectors of the economy. The Minister said this at a reception held in Koforidua in honour of the senior citizens in the country as part of the 48th Republic day celebrations. Mr. Affram Asiedu said by virtue of their sterling performance, some of them have left footprints which need to be emulated by the youth.
