Aduana maintain top spot, Hearts second  
Defending champions Hearts of Oak are snapping at their heels after a stalemate in Tamale against Real Tamale United sent them to second place and one point adrift.
 
Newly-installed Aduana Stars picked up a point at AshantiGold in a goalless draw on Wednesday night to remain on top of the Glo Premier League after the opening fixtures in the second round.  Defending champions Hearts of Oak are snapping at their heels after a stalemate in Tamale against Real Tamale United sent them to second place and one point adrift.

Great Olympics survived a scare in a 7 goal thriller when they nearly threw away a 4-0 lead against Wa All Stars to wrap up tie 4-3 at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra.

Liberty Professionals confirmed Sekondi Hasaacas poor form this term by posting a 4-1 win at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.

Goals from Guinean imports Sylla Foda, who grabbed a hat-trick and Capi Soumah sealed it for Liberty.

Charles Nartey was on target for Hasaacas.

Eleven Wise sealed a 2-1 victory over Beechem Chelsea at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

In Kpando, Heart of Lions denied King Faisal with a 2-1 win.
