The Ghanaian Times writes on the plight of Chiefs and people o the Banda Traditional Area for their non-involvement in land issues in the area, especially in connection with Bui Dam Project. According to the paper the people are peeved that the Bui Power Authority and the Ghana Dams Dialogue are negotiating with people they consider strangers over land matters in the area. The paper therefore reminds the authorities not to ignore the people’s legitimate rights in issues dealing with compensation and royalty payments. This the paper says will erase any future attacks and war.
