The Ministry of Environment Science and Technology has proposed the 25th November, as National Climate Change Day. The day will be used to disseminate information on climate change at the national and local levels.

Speaking at the re-inauguration of the National Climate Change Committee in Accra, the Deputy Sector Minister Dr Edward Omani Boamah emphasized the need for such a policy to help solve some of the problems associated with climate change.

Dr. Boamah outlines the objectives and expectations of the committee.
