The paper therefore urges government to provide the necessary support for the Ministry of Tourism to market the potential in the sector, particularly during this challenging time. In the papers view the time has come for the country to put in some extra efforts to develop the country’s tourist sites. This according to the paper will derive the maximum benefits from the country’s heritage.
The Ghanaian Times expresses doubt about the Food and Drugs Board’s warning to some advertisers and radio presenters who advertise regulated products especially alcoholic beverages on the airwaves to desist from the act. In the paper’s opinion the Board has always been barking without a bite. The Times urges the Food and Drugs Board to do its home work well in order to win the battle against the advertisement of unapproved products.
