Kotoko after jubilating after their win over Chelsea of Bechem
 
Asante Kotoko's self-belief of winning the league title was restored on Wednesday when they nicked a late 0-1 victory over Chelsea of Bechem at the Sunyani Coronation Park and Hearts of Oak crashed to a 3-1 reverse against Gamba All Blacks.

Stephen Manu struck on the 89th minute to move the Porcupine Warriors to second place and four points behind leaders Hearts of Oak.

At Swedru, Mahadi Abubakar opened the scoring for Hearts but Bismark Idan equalized for All Blacks.

Charles Ampiah made it 2-1 before the interval and Joe Louis scored against his former club with the winner.

King Faisal beat Kessben FC 2-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium with eight men thanks to a brace from striker Samad Oppong.

AshantiGold moved closer to safety following a 2-0 win against Berekum Arsenals at the Len Clay.

Emmanuel Adjetey's free-kick put AshGold ahead and on-loan striker Frederick Quayson finished the business.

All Stars were surprised in their own backyard by Real Tamale United which inflicted a 2-1 defeat.

Akwasi Swalley and Kabiru Imoro were on target for RTU and Ben Acheampong reduced the deficit.

Liberty Professionals fought back to win 2-1 over Eleven Wise at home.  John Antwi scored first for Wise but Yaw Antwi and Kamel Issah responded for Liberty.

Hasaacas drew 2-2 with Heart of Lions at the Sekondi Stadium in Essipong.

Tema Youth stole a 2-1 win over relegation candidates Sporting Mirren at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
