Ghanaians urged to uphold cultural heritage  
The  District Chief Executive, DCE, for the  Akyemansa  District  in the  Eastern Region,  Tom  Budu has advised  Ghanaians  to preserve their  culture  and  not to adulterate it with foreign ones.  He said  most Africans  especially Ghanaians are fond of emulating  foreign cultures to the detriment of  their own. 

This, he said does not augur well for national development. 

Mr. Budu was speaking at the opening of the first inter-circuits cultural festival for basic schools in the District.
