Some electorate in the Tema East and West Constituencies say they will vote for parties who will quicken developmental projects in the two constituencies. Most of the people who are floating voters said the political campaign message and adverts have helped them to make informed choices come December. Speaking in an interview with Obonu FM in Tema in a view sampling exercise, a Trader at Community Five, Linda Anno said although the Tema West Constituency is a strong hold of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, the party has failed in honouring its promises within the constituency.
She said due to the Convention Peoples Party, CPP presidential candidate's promise to provide quality education for every Ghanaian child, provide energy for industrialization and to create jobs among others, the party needs to be given the chance to implement its programmes to enhance development.
An Entrepreneur at Community Nine, Michael Jones said the commitments of the ruling party, the NPP has also shown that when given the mandate it will do more for Ghana. He mentioned the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, School Feeding Programme, Capitation Grant and National Youth Employment Programme, NYEP as some of the good works of the NPP. This he noted must be considered by Ghanaians and vote for the NPP to enable the party to continue its good works.
A butcher at the Community One market Mohammed Mumuni said the Tema East seat which belongs to the NPP will go back to the National Democratic Congress, NDC come December. He was confident that the NDC is the only party Ghanaians can rely on for a better Ghana.
Basing his judgment on the IEA debate, a Musician, Ato Kwamena said he will vote for thePeoples National Convention, PNC since it is a peaceful party which can move the country forward. He said the PNC has a good vision for the development of the country, hence the need for the electorate to vote the PNC to power.
