SDA principal praises new educational reforms
The Principal of the SDA College of Education, Adoma Ekumfi Ameyaw says, the new education reform has helped in the development and democratic advancement of the country.  He said, the reform provides the requisite education and training for all children of school going age.  The Principal was speaking at the Speech and Prize Giving Day of the SDA Complex Schools at Suhum in the Eastern Region.  

Mr. Ekumfi Ameyaw said most parents engage their wards in petty trading to the detriment of their education.  The Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District Director of Education, Augustina Menko Aboagye said quality formal education contributes a lot to providing employable skills to the youth. 

She said there is the need for national objectives, policies and achievement levels of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports and the Ghana Education Service to be incorporated in every school plan.  The Regional Manager of SDA Schools Isaac Okyere entreated parents to spend quality time with their children.
