African ministers converge in Accra
African Ministers of Aviation and Transportation are in Accra, for the fifth Council meeting on the implementation of the Yamoussoukro accord on liberalization of air transport. The Committee has oversight responsibility for the implementation of the decision to liberalize air transport in West and Central Africa. 

The Ministers will be considering the rules of proceedings for the harmonization of air transportation in the region.  They will also renew the mandate of the executive bureau of the coordination and monitoring committee of the region as well as evaluate the implementation status of the Yamoussoukro accord in member countries. The meeting opens on tomorrow, 7th November in Accra.
