Ghana/Nigeria to set up business chamber
Ghana and Nigeria will soon establish a chamber of commerce to improve trade relations between them.  Speaking on the forthcoming Ghana and Nigeria Business Summit 2008, the Ghana High Commissioner to Nigeria, George Kumi said the world is becoming a global village and there is the need for the two countries to integrate and remove all barriers that hinder trade and investment.

The Chief Executive Officer of Vintage Vision Ghana Limited, Otunba Michael Ajayi said the time has come for the two countries to iron out trade differences and establish a mutual agreement to enhance free trade between them.  He said the establishment of the chamber of commerce will provide a platform for a conducive business environment for small, medium and other business operators to improve local demand in Africa .

He expressed the hope that at the end of the summit on the sixth to eighth of October, other countries will take a cue from the agreement and establish such relationships.
