The New Ghanaian Movement, a political think-tank has urged the flag bearer of the PNC, Dr. Edward Mahama, to consider choosing a running mate from either the Ashanti or Greater Accra Regions. The Executive Secretary of the Movement, Kwadwo Anim, stated this in a statement to the GNA in Accra. The statement explained that these two regions stand marginalized in the December elections and a running mate from any of the two will balance the political terrain to create the needed regional equilibrium.
