Members of the Accra City Campus of TESCON have called on all party faithful and the general public to welcome the decision of the National Executive Committee of the party for the choice of a running mate. In a statement signed by the President, Seth Adu-Adjei it said the choice does not mean that the names that came up were not qualified or competent to partner the presidential candidate.

Rather it sees all of them to be equally competent and qualified to be Nana’s partner but at the end only one was needed to be selected. It urged all party supporters to control their apathy in order not to affect the unity which the party has gained over the years.

By so doing this will strengthen the democratic nature of the party. Concluding it said Nana Akufo Addo and Dr Bawumia will give the NPP a one touch victory in the December elections.
