SDA churches to form an Association in Ghana

Members of the Seventh Day Sabbath Churches have held their Maiden Meeting in Accra to form a formidable association. The Association will be known as Ghana Seventh Day Sabbath Churches Association. It aims at polling resources and building economic capacity to support Sabbatarian Churches in evangelism and soul winning. Thirteen Sabbatarian and two non-Sabbatarian Churches, the Roman Catholic and Evangelical Presbyterian attended the meeting.

Some of the 13 Sabbatarian Churches that attended the meeting were the Seventh Day Adventist, Seventh Day Church of Theocracy, The Way of Truth Church Seventh Day, Mount Zion Assembly of Yaweh, Seventh Day Pentecostal, The Church of Yaweh and Assemblies of Christ Mission Seventh Day.

Apostle Kadmiel Agbalenyoh who is also the leader of the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy said some challenges facing Sabbatarian faithful are divided or multiple hearts, weak in knowledge and differences in church doctrines. He said, it is because of these challenges, the Association is being formed to support each other in the faith and make positive contributions to the Sabbatarian Churches.

Elder K. B. Adusei of Mataheko SDA, who chaired the function, said Sabbatarians have a greater role to play in effecting change in society. He urged members not to use doctrinal differences and seeking of positions to derail the progress of the Association.
