Eastern Regional Manager of GTB calls for quality customer service

The Eastern Regional Manager of the Ghana Tourist Board, Sampson Donkor has called on people in the hospitality industry to provide high quality customer service in a clean and hygienic environment. This, he said, will help them meet the expectation of customers and remain competitive with other countries in the industry.

Mr. Donkor said this at the 20th graduation ceremony and the inauguration of the Naval Cadet of Liberty Specialist Institute at Koforidua in the Eastern Region. He said the hospitality industry depends on valued customers for its survival. Mr. Donkor said the Hotel catering and Tourism Institute lacks the requisite capacity and logistics to train the hospitality staff.

The Director of the Institute. Mrs. Edina Ametamet urged the graduands to make good use of the knowledge acquired and appealed to the Ambassador and the people of Korea and the GETFUND Secretariat to support the school with computers and vehicles.
