Pastor wants church to pay taxes on earnings
A Pastor has called on churches to pay taxes to government as part of their contribution to the country’s development.  Head Past of the Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry, Prophet Kofi Yirenkyi said as much as Pastors and church leaders are interested in the spiritual growth of their members, they should also help to develop the country.

Speaking at a news briefing in Accra, Prophet Yirenkyi expressed worry about how some citizens including Christians have turned to idolatry. He said idolatry is against God’s principle and reminded Christian of how Israel in the Old Testament suffered calamities whenever they forsook God and gave way to idol worship.

According to him, division and confusion among families are some of the consequences of idolatry. Prophet Yirenkyi appealed to Ghanaians especially Christians to give themselves wholly to the doctrines of God to attract God’s blessings.
