Two faction fight over leadership of church
Reports reaching Radio Ghana indicate that the Central Regional Police Command has deployed police personnel to the headquarters of Musama Disco Christo Church at Gomoa Mozano to end the confusion that has erupted between factions of the church.  Sources say two factions namely “GO SLOW”, which is backing Prophet Miritaiah Jonah-Appiah and the “Apamsee” backing one Fiifi Jehu-Appiah nearly clashed when Apamsee decided to install Mr. Jehu-Appiah as the new Akaboha.

Reports say the church has been in litigation for the past six years about the legitimacy of Mr. Jehu-Appiah as the Akaboha and the issue is still pending at the Appeal Court.  When Radio Ghana contacted the Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Emmanuel Tei Okoso, on phone, he confirmed the story and stated that the Police are in the town to restore calm.   He said the Swedru High Court ruled last month that until the two groups reconcile none of them should hold any public gathering but the “Apamsee Group” went contrary to the ruling to install a new Akaboha which brought about the confusion.
