President John Dramani Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has said his commitment is to build a more inclusive government with a single purpose as was the vision of his predecessor.

President Mahama made this commitment when a television personality and presenter of 'Straight talk Africa' on Voice of America, VOA, Shaka Ssali called on him at the Castle, Osu.

Shaka Ssali was at the Castle to congratulate the President and extend the television network's condolences to government and people of Ghana.

Mr. Ssali said the death of late President Mills hit the International community as a shock.

In response, President Mahama noted that it is only in death that people's attributes are recognised.

He said as a country, he is sure that everyone recognises that an asset has been lost.

President Mahama about two weeks ago had an interview with Shaka Ssali on 'Straight Talk Africa' about a book he launched in the USA.

Shaka Ssali is in the country with a team of Journalists from East Africa to do a documentary on Ghana.

He was also supposed to be among award winners at the Radio and Television Award ceremony which was called off due to the death of President Mills.
