MP sentenced to two years imprisonment

Jailed Bawku Central MP, Adamu Dramani
The MP for Bawku Central, Adamu Dramani Sakande, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment by an Accra High Court.

Mr Dramani Sakonde was found guilty on three counts of false declaration, perjury and deceit of a public officer.

The judge, Mr Justice Charles Quist, sentenced the MP to two years on each count to run concurrently.
