The Ghana Federation of the Disabled (GFD) has called for effective inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in this year's election.

The first Vice President of the Federation and President of Ghana Blind Union, Yaw Ofori Debrah, stated this during an interview with Issah Shaibu at a forum organised by the Ghana Federation of the disabled in Accra Today.
