The Daily Graphic expresses concern over activities of Chinese engaging in illegal mining in Ghana. The paper describes as unacceptable the display of what it terms, want on arrogance and empty boastfulness from Ghanaian citizens as happened in Manso-Nsiena. The Graphic contends that no Ghanaian can behave like that manner in China without being repatriated. The paper says, international and bilateral relations must not blunt the country's resolve to deal with criminal and illegal conduct particularly destroyers after foreigners have reaped undeserved economic gains.

The Ghanaian Times writes on the Justice For All Programme. While the paper believes it is a laudable project, it is concerned that it has become the conduct by which certain hardened criminals find their way out of lawful custody only to unleash more terror on the people. The Times therefore urges all stakeholders to conduct a proper review of the procedure, and scrutinises the background of those listed for hearing. This, the paper believes, will ensure that the courts do not discharge persons who should genuinely be locked up in the national interest.
