President Mills Meets Flt Lt. Rawlings

The meeting was at the instance of President Mills.
GBC’s Radio Ghana can now confirm that President John Evans Atta Mills met with former President Rawlings at the Castle, Osu.

The meeting according to a source was at the instance of President Mills.

It said the two leaders discussed issues about the National Democratic Congress, NDC, and matters of national importance.

In another interview with Radio Ghana, National Security Adviser to President Mills, Brigadier-General Nunoo Mensah, who for sometime now has been trying to impress upon the two leaders to bridge their differences said he is happy that his efforts are yielding results.

This, he said is not only good for the NDC but the nation as a whole.

General Nunoo Mensah spoke to Seth Eyiah.
