An International Relations Expert and Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament, Rashid Pelpuo has described the political transition in Libya as a process and not an event.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr Pelpuo said that like the beginning of every democracy, Libya would have to pass through the democratic mill before it fully integrates itself into the comity of true democratic nations.

On the tenth anniversary of the AU, Mr Pelpuo said though the AU is yet to fully gain grounds the success chalked up by the Organisation cannot be discounted.

Mr Pelpuo who is currently in China with the first Deputy Speaker of Parliament Doe Adjaho at the instance of the leadership of China's Parliament believes the visit will be mutually beneficial to the Parliaments of the two countries.
