PNC urges Ex-President Rawlings to reconsider decision of forming new party

Presidential Candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga
The Presidential Candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga is asking the Rawlingses to reconsider their decision of forming a new political party five months to elections.

He believes that what the former first couple should do is to tolerate one another and also make room to patch up with members of the NDC.

Speaking on Radio Ghana's Current Affairs Programme, "Behind the News", Mr. Ayariga said as someone who once governed this country on the ticket of the NDC, President Rawlings should have stayed in the party to resolve whatever differences rather than forming a new party which does not augur well for the country's democracy.
