Coalition asks government not to agree with World Bank suggestion to reduce health subsidy

The Coalition of NGOs on Health is asking the government not to agree with the suggestion by the World Bank to reduce its subsidy on health.

The group says government should rather remain focused and allocate more resources to the health sector to drastically reduce maternal and infant mortality.

The Coalition made the call in Wa during a forum on universal access to health care financing.
