Private sector asked to partner government in road safety management
The Commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit of the Ghana Police Service, ACP Awuni has called on the private sector to partner government by investing resources in road safety management, with the view to reducing road traffic crashes.

He said efforts by road safety stakeholder institutions to effectively address the increasing incidence of road crashes are not yielding the desired results due to the lack of partnership to provide the necessary infrastructure and logistics in order to strengthen enforcement of road traffic regulation efforts.

ACP Awuni made the appeal at the passing out of 200 task force members of the Road Safety Management Services Limited in Kumasi.
