Education Ministry warns schools against 'illegal charges'
The Head of Public Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Paul Krampa, has asked schools who are illegally levying students to refrain from the act.

This follows the Public Account Committee's report on findings that revealed that, unapproved fees are being charged by second cycle schools.

Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana, Mr. Krampa, noted that levies to be collected should be those only directed by the Ghana Education Service.

He said the GES is liaising with the Conference of Heads of Secondary Schools to enforce the directive.
