TEWU issues ultimatum to FWSC over payment of retention premium
The Teachers and Educational Workers Union of the TUC, TEWU has given a two week ultimatum to the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, FWSC to resume negotiations on the payment of the 15 percent retention premium to some of its members.

Speaking at a news conference in Accra, the General Secretary of TEWU, Mohammed Bogobiri, said delay in resuming negotiations is creating tension and members will advise themselves after the said date.
