The United States is to renew the Africa Growth Opportunity Act, AGOA, with African countries so they can continue to export goods to the US without restriction.

This follows a successful meeting between Ghana's Trade delegation and the US Trade Department.

A member of Ghana's delegation to the US and MP for Abokobi-Madina, Alhaji Amadu Sorogho, disclosed to Radio Ghana that the country was highly commended by the US Trade Secretary, for being a leading African nation in economic development.
