The Daily Graphic expresses worry that though nurses and midwives have the basic duty of treating patients and educating them on their medical conditions, they do not perform these to the satisfaction of all. Instead of showing love, care and empathy towards patients, they rather insult them without provocation. To check this, the paper urges the Nurses and Midwives Council to institute a system whereby nurses and allied health workers will be monitored for better health care delivery.
