Inter-Party Youth Committee pledges to ensure peaceful elections

The Inter-party Youth Committee of the four major political parties, NDC, NPP, CPP and PNC, have pledged to ensure peaceful elections in December.

To this end, the Committee has resolved to preach peace messages through campaigns devoid of any form of provocation and insults.

The four groups made the pledge in Accra at a news conference on sustaining peace before, during and after the elections.

The Chairman of the Committee and National Youth Organiser of the NDC, Ludwig Hlodze, said the 2012 elections should come and go without the loss of any life or property in the name of partisan politics.
