EC launches workshop for political parties in Kumasi
The Electoral Commission has launched its capacity building workshops and study tours for political parties, in Kumasi.

The project is to enhance the credibility of this year’s general elections.

It is in collaboration with the UK Department for International Development and KAB Governance Consult.

The Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr.
Kwadwo Afari Djan, who is also the Commission member responsible for the Ashanti and Volta Regions, said political party executives play critical roles in the affairs of their parties and are key stakeholders in election. It is therefore essential that the Electoral Commission engages with party executives.

He said another engagement of the Electoral Commission with party executives will be a visit to the Operation Room and IT Department at the Commission’s headquarters in Accra, to witness the activities that go on in there.
