The Daily Graphic applauds the collaboration between the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare and RLG Communications to offer ICT training to persons with disability. The initiative is meant to empower them to be better equipped for the modern job market. To the paper, the move is a step in the right direction since computer technology has now become the sure vehicle to the growth of businesses on the globe. The Graphic however says if the ICT training for persons with disability is to become a success, there must be a monitoring mechanism in place to ensure that the beneficiaries complete their training and are well furnished with the necessary tools and capital to start their trade. The paper also urges relatives of the beneficiaries to assist and encourage them in whatever way possible so they can earn a living out of the training.

The Ghanaian Times cautions political parties and all factions involved in the Northern crisis not to put their ambitions above the welfare of the people. To the paper, politicians must see the crisis as something far from politics and refrain from making utterances that have the potential of inflaming passions that will eventually result in further violence. The Times also appeals to the media to be careful in their coverage of political activities in the north.
