Accra: Traders on ‘Fall of the Cedi’

The Ghana Union of Traders Association, GUTA, has appealed to the government to as a matter of urgency, institute measures to arrest the free fall of the Cedi.

Speaking to the media, the President of GUTA, Mr George Ofori said the continuous fall of the cedi is eroding the capital of most traders and is gradually forcing most of them to fold-up.

The call comes on the back of the consistent depreciation of the cedi.
