Absence of Finance Minister forces defer of presentation
Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Kwabena Duffour
The absence from Parliament of the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Kwabena Duffour and his two Deputies to lay papers on a number of credit Agreements has forced the first Deputy Speaker, Doe Adjaho, to defer their presentation.

This was after the Minority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu opposed a request by Majority Chief Whip, Gershon Gbediameh, urging the Deputy Minister of Education to lay the paper on behalf of the Finance Minister.
