Ghana’s agric sector must tackle post harvest losses
The country’s agricultural sector will see a boost with the announcement of an expected injection of a 600 million dollar package.

The money will be used to implement the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition.

But what key areas under the programme should the government look at?

A farmer and president of the Farmers and Fishermen Awards Winners Association Philip Abayori, thinks the focus must be on reducing post harvest losses by creating district agricultural facilities where agricultural produce can be stored.
