The Daily Graphic salutes the CPP and its leadership for working hard to bring its internal wrangling to an end. In the view of the paper, the two gentlemen vying for the party's flagbearership Dr Abu Sakara Foster and Bright Akwetey have so far conducted themselves well. The Graphic is optimistic that the ongoing congress will end successfully in electing one of the two contestants to lead the party to victory.

The Ghanaian Times backs the call by the Ghana Integrity Initiative on all civil and public servants who contested and lost the parliamentary primaries of various political parties to resign immediately. To the paper, by contesting the primaries, those officers publicly declared their party affiliation and they can therefore, not be trusted to be neutral in the discharge of their duties.
