CPP to hold National Congress to elect flagbearer

The General Secretary of the CPP, Ivor Greenstreet, says all is set for the party's congress on the 12th of next month to elect its flagbearer.

Two delegates from each constituency in addition to National and Regional executives will be choosing between lawyer Bright Akwetey and the 2008 Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Abu Sakara to lead the CPP in the December elections.

Mr Greenstreet tells Radio Ghana’s correspondent that the party is busily canvassing grassroot support and is poised for victory.
