EC issues directives to biometric registration officials

The Electoral Commission has clarified that under no circumstance should a registration centre be closed during lunch hours, because each centre is equipped with enough personnel comprising registration officials and special duty staff to ensure continuous registration throughout the day.

Deputy Chairman of the EC, Sarfo- Kantanka, made the clarification at a review session of the first and second phases of the Biometric Voter Registration in the Greater Accra Region.
