Ministry initiates policy to regulate medical donations
More than 80 percent of electrical equipment donated to health facilities in the country by developed countries are either obsolete, out of production or dysfunctional.

To reverse the trend, the Ministry of Health has come out with a policy to regulate the type of medical equipment to be donated to health facilities in the country.


Speaking at a dialogue session at the Third Policy Fair, the Head of Biological Engineering at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Nichodemous Gebe, called on policy makers to collaborate with the Ministry to achieve this goal.
