Mixed reactions to Kufuor's comments on arrest of Ken Agyapong
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor
A lecturer at LECIAD, Legon and a Lawyer, Dr. Ken Ahorsu, says for the rule of law to be made practicable in Ghana, political leaders must allow the law to take its cause in the arrest and prosecution of Kennedy Agyapong.

Reacting to Former President Kufuor's intervention from the US, Dr. Ahorsu said
such interventions are uncalled for.

Meanwhile a legal practitioner, Kakra Essamuah, says it is unfortunate that former President Kufuor, has waded into the Kennedy Agyapong's issue the way he did.

He thinks Mr. Kufuor should have condemned Kennedy Agyapong a long time ago when he was always insulting Ghanaians with impunity.

According to Kakra Essamuah, former President Kufuor may be right to call on President Mills to calm tension but he should have disassociated himself from Mr Agyapong's utterances.
