UT Bank fact behind the figures

UT Bank has announced a profit before tax of GH¢ 17m for 2011.

At the same time, the loans and advances portfolio of the bank saw an increase of 53% to GH¢ 482m.

Deposit also climbed up to GH¢ 546m during the period.

The impressive performance of UT Bank comes in the wake of the acquisition of 22% of UT by the International Finance Corporation, an affiliate of the World Bank focused exclusively on the private sector.
