New vaccine to fight meningitis
The Ghana Health Service (GHS), has introduced a new vaccine to fight meningitis.

The vaccine, MenAfriVac, is more effective in the fight against meningitis.

The vaccination will target people between the ages one and 29 and will be provided free of charge.

The Ghana Health Service mentioned that persons who have already received the old vaccines can also be vaccinated again.

The vaccination campaign was launched at a news briefing in Accra.
