Government to set up Independent Body to oversee Ghana's Migration From Analogue To Digital
An Independent Telecommunication body is to be set up by government to oversee Ghana’s migration from the present analogue to digital broadcasting which is scheduled to be completed by 2015.

The same body, which will be neutral from any of the broadcasting, organizations will be the permanent manager of the digital television transmission in the country with the main television stations concentrating on the production of packages.

The Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Berifi Apenteng, made this known in Kumasi during a meeting with staff of the Corporation as part of his tour of GBC installations across the country.
